Remember those days when mom put a roast in the crock-pot just before you left to go to church on Sunday morning? When the meat was first put in it wasn’t exactly be tasty and ready to eat. But while you were away for church something happened. The roast became a flavor-filled, tender, and delicious meal. What made it taste so good? The slow cooking process was the key. That’s the way faith works in our life. When we first start out we are not close to being all that God desires for us to be. So He slowly turns up the heat on the crock-pot. As the heat increases we begin to "cook" so to speak. And through time and God’s grace in our lives our faith in Him increases and grows. The end result is life that is fully committed and devoted to God. What was the key to the roast turning out so good? It was time. The same is true in our lives, it takes "God’s time." This series will help you understand the process of faith building and development. Listen closely as Pastor Ray Jones guides us through God’s word. We pray that as you hear these sermons your relationship with God will be refreshed and renewed.
