The Maturing Christian

Have you ever felt as if you had "arrived" in life? If you have it probably wasn’t long before you discovered you really had not even started the journey. As followers of Christ it is impossible to stay where you are and go with God. Hence, the title "followers" denotes a person that is always going somewhere. Maturing is the process and journey we are discussing. A person matures physically, emotionally, and mentally if they do as they should. Well a Christian should constantly be maturing because they are doing what Christ commands. Therefore, no one should ever be referred to as a mature Christian, but as a maturing Christian.
