The Children's Ministry at Ridgecrest seeks to love and lead a generation that we believe can change the world.
Ridgecrest Kids, the ministry to families of 1st-4th graders, partners with parents to equip children with the tools to know, follow and share Christ. We believe Christ-centered teaching is critical to developing a strong relationship with Jesus so families can be life-long, confident disciples impacting the world for His glory.
Ridgecrest Kids is committed to building and maintaining a partnership between the home and church through activities including Sunday Morning Kids Worship, Kid Konnection groups, Wednesday night discipleship, and many other special events. We provide a safe environment where all volunteers go through a background check.
To make our check-in process quicker for our first-time guest, fill out our registration form before your arrival. We can’t wait to meet you!
Kids Worship is designed to nurture and strengthen a child spiritually, emotionally and socially. The elements used in Kids Worship are the same as those practiced in the congregational worship with the reading of Scripture, praise, prayer, and commitment all on a kid’s level. Kids Worship meets during the 8:15 am and 10:50 am services in room D-203.
Ridgecrest Kids offers Sunday morning Kid Konnection groups for boys and girls using Explore the Bible curriculum. Sunday Morning Kid Konnection groups are offered for 1st through 4th graders at 9:45 a.m.
Royal Ambassadors (RA) and Girls in Action (GA) is a missions discipleship organization for boys and girls in grades 1st through 4th. Through RA and GA classes, kids learn about, pray for, give to, and do missions work. They also make new friends and have lots of fun! Each Wednesday night during the school year RA’s meet in room E-211 and GA’s meet in room E-215 at 6:00 pm.
